What did the conversion of indigenous people of Latin America mean? "It meant knowing and welcoming Christ, the unknown God whom their ancestors were seeking, without realizing it... Christ is the Saviour for whom they were silently longing." They were so longing it, or else they wouldn't have worn those loincloths.
